Soil and sheep have long been a concern for shepherds across New England. The two go hand in hand. The healthier a pasture’s soil is, the more nutrition it can provide to the sheep. A healthy sheep converts grass into fiber we can use to insulate ourselves and our homes. When applied to the soil, wool breaks down slowly over the growing season and completes the cycle.

Our wool pellets have a N-P-K of 11-0-5. They are rich in nitrogen and potash; and contain trace minerals such as calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron and zinc. Nitrogen is the nutrient that encourages green growth in plants while potash is the nutrient that makes fruit sweet.
